What is HarperQuest?

HarperQuest is a fearless plunge into the gloaming depths of the artistic unknown, a voyage of discovery whose aim is knowledge, wordly wisdom, and not rarely cheap beer and a tripe sandwich. HarperQuest is a yearning for artistic revelation that can not be sated, a black-market trade in cultural contraband that leaves all participants aesthetically richer, pecuniarily poorer, and criminally more culpable. HarperQuest is the perpetually grimacing photograph of a relative pasted onto a popsicle stick. Many of life’s divers paths have lead into the sprawling arms of its mad embrace, into that yawning maw whose gullet is adventure itself, but whose teeth have been sharpened on the relentless whetstone of Irish-American Catholicism. HarperQuest is a great and majestic European van, its transmission manual, its driver trapped motionless in second gear—no! HarperQuest is the sound of those warping and straining gears, the mad wail of the van imperiled! HarperQuest is an arch but ultimately affirming bathroom graffito. HarperQuest is you and me.

What is HarperQuest: Nights?

HarperQuest: Nights is an event series compiled specifically to encourage the Harper siblings to go to shows together, and in so doing, to rip the very heart from the chest of the City of Phoenix and drink its steaming blood. It is also a conscious attempt to use the Internet for its purest possible application—making very dumb shit because you find it amusing. Aesthetically, HarperQuest: Nights dot com draws its inspiration from Miami Modern design, early GeoCities html pages, and the lurid 80s which gave birth to us all.
