Kool Keith (with MC Homeless)

Genuinely one of the most innovative stylists in hip-hop history, Ultramagnetic MCs alumnus Kool Keith secured rap immortality with his seminal 1996 release Dr. Octagonecologyst, a concept album written from the perspective of his alter ego Dr. Octagon, an evil gynecologist from the planet Jupiter. Though mainstream success eluded him, he continues to release albums in his inimitable style, and his famous fans span from Jurassic 5 and Del the Funky Homosapien to The Prodigy, who transformed a Kool Keith sample into his massive hit “Smack My Bitch Up.” Keith currently tours with acolyte MC Homeless, with whom he has collaborated since 2019.
